Can we move politically, 2023
speculative design, conceptual design, art direction

Project from Raumklasse at Univesität der Künste Berlin, 2023
What would a right-winged Berlin look like in 2033, and how can we, as designers express resistance in a spatial context?

CAN WE MOVE POLITICALLY is a conceptual design project, which explores grafitti together with bricks as a historical symbol of resistant and protest. The tiles contains fragments of words, inspired by Hannah Arendt  - "we do not know, at least not yet, how to move politically". As performative tools, they invite us to physically and mentally de- and reconstruct narratives materialized through our build surroundings, and have the potential to create new social choreographies within these spaces.
